Job Summary
The University of Southern Mississippi School of Music seeks qualified musicians in all fields, specialties and instruments for hire on a per service basis. The School of Music is a comprehensive music program that provides high quality experiences for students and community members through a variety of musical activities. These activities are essential to the development of our students. Occasionally, the School of Music must supplement these musical activities with highly qualified musicians, directors, conductors, technicians, creative staff and lecturers from a variety of specialty areas.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Perform with a high level of professionalism
Wear appropriate concert dress, as indicated by the conductor
Provide a professional quality instrument in good repair as needed and appropriate
Follow all performance directions of the conductor as appropriate
Be present at least 10 minutes before all scheduled services
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Professional level performance, conducting or technical theatre skill level, as determined by the Director.
