This is a Job Description for an Accuracy Control Specialist in Pascagoula, Mississippi
Summary: Responsible for developing required documentation for Accuracy Control and craft to accurately validate the construction and erecting of foundations, components and assemblies. Maintain awareness of fitting and welding techniques for the development of construction information. Direct equal and lower technicians in proper and accurate techniques. Prioritize cost and update daily, weekly and monthly work tasks and schedules.
Duties & Responsibilities: Information consists of but not limited to Check Sheets, Girthing and Rotational information, Dimension Control Construction guidance and erection process procedures as it supports Accuracy Control and Operations/Hull during construction. Diagnose problem areas in the build process utilizing specialized measuring equipment. Perform daily surveys on ship building process checking the work of craft. Good working knowledge and experience with survey equipment. Maintain related records concerning time, labor and materials; maintain log of tasks performed and write reports as required.
Respond to emergency situations during or after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate craft concerns or operations issues.
Requirements

: High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of experience. Associates degree in a related discipline and 3 years of related experience or the equivalent in education and training.
