Our client is an industry/global leader in fragrances as well as taste. Their sole purpose is to provide customers with a broad range of solutions that match the demand for clean, organic and natural ingredients. This company is looking for a Quality Control Specialist to join the team. This is an amazing opportunity to work with one of the biggest companies in the flavor and fragrances industry!

Location: Florence, KY

Schedule: M-F 8am-5p

Pay: $25 – $28/hour DOE

Responsibilities:

Maintain and enhance local Quality and Food Safety programs to meet global policies, regulations, and customer requirements.

Manage customer complaints and work on improving performance and compliance.

Oversee Quality and Food Safety documentation, including halal, kosher, and organic programs.

Lead internal audits and monthly food safety inspections.

Train staff on quality and food safety practices.

Handle food safety non-conformances, root cause analysis, and follow-up actions.

Support customer, regulatory, and certification audits and implement improvement plans.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology, Food Science, or related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control.

Experience with Quality and Food Safety Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, FDA requirements (PCQI).

Proficient in SAP, databases, and Microsoft Office.
