1st Shift Light Industrial Assembler

Job Description

– Assemble food manufacturing equipment by hand using air and hand tools.

– Use screwdrivers, drills, tape measures, etc.

– Handle parts usually 10 lbs or less, but up to 30 lbs.

– Perform mechanical assembly of small-scale products for shipment to end users.

– Conduct electrical wiring and testing of parts in the roller grill department.

– Ensure your line meets unit output requirements.

– Be open to overtime if required.

Hard Skills

Manufacturing or Industrial experience preferred

Ability to lift 30 lbs unassisted

Hand and power tool usage

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Hicksville, Ohio.

Work Environment

– Mid-size manufacturing company in the machine building space.

– Clean environment with an older building style feel.

– Expanding to add more space.

– Company runs a 4-10s schedule

– Unpaid lunch for day shifts

– Most areas are 40-45 hours per week, with more overtime available in the roller grill areas.

– One earbud allowed on the floor for personal music; multiple overhead radios available.

– Dress code: tasteful shirts and shorts, jeans, etc. No spaghetti straps, muscle tanks, etc.

– No steel toe required.
