Position Summary

The Senior Vendor Account Manager supports the evolution and growth of hoopla Digitals content catalog and is point person for managing key digital publishing partnerships. This position is responsible for initiating, negotiating and managing ongoing positive relationships with digital vendors and ongoing internal digital vendor communications across the enterprise. This includes new digital account set up, contract negotiation and renewals, general questions and maintenance as well as ongoing new content acquisitions. Success in this position will include advocating for hooplas strategic content objectives as well as understanding vendor needs to create win-win scenarios for long lasting and mutually beneficial vendor relationships.  Occasional overnight travel is required to attend conferences and/or key account on-site visits.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this position successfully, an individual must fulfill the knowledge, skill, and/or ability requirements listed below.

1. Responsible for day-to-day management and developing and presenting business insights for key account relationships with the goals to increase sales, margin and catalog size          
2. Work effectively with publishing and/or entertainment professionals in various settings including remote and in-person conferences and meetings including leading business reviews and strategic meetings
3. Responsible for identifying new content opportunities, including new content categories (ex: BingePass)
4. Collaborate on new contracts as well as critical strategic thinking around potential contract renewals
5. Take leadership role while collaborating with all internal teams to facilitate vendor onboarding, newly contracted relationships, as well as support ongoing relationships
6. Responsible for seeking out new vendors to fulfill strategic content gaps in hoopla catalog
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date details in the systems and tools designed to manage the business
8. Work collaboratively with Analytics and measure and increase vendor value based on strategic KPIs
9. Collaborate with Marketing to create and execute strategies designed to drive sales and increase hoopla value to vendors, libraries and hoopla
10. Support the formulation and communication of strategies to external content partners and internal stakeholders
11. Troubleshoot as necessary to resolve vendor issues
12. Cross train and collaborate with Vendor Mangers and DA Coordinator on vendor account management
13. Support the Digital Acquisitions team in commitment to improve processes, workflows, and best practices for the business
14. Actively look for ways to add value to vendor relationships while advocating hooplas objectives  
15. Represent Midwest Tape/hoopla in a professional manner at all times
