Job Description
Essential Functions:
Receive product and process accordingly
Compare product received to packing slips and identify discrepancies
Work with Accounts Payable to resolve discrepancies between packing slips and invoices
Perform data entry to research orders as well as input data for products received
Direct materials to/between outside vendors
Load and unload trucks by hand and/or with material handling equipment
Process shipments daily with complete accuracy
Issue approved parts as needed to production departments point of use from incoming inspection
Maintain all inventory in a neat and orderly fashion
Conduct daily inventory counts
Assure proper storage and stock rotation as required to preserve shelf life
Manage all shipping paperwork
Process warehouse transfers through WMS system as required
Assists with training of others
Strict compliance to FDA and OSHA standards and record keeping
Adheres to all safety policies
Perform daily housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe work area
Complete all required training applicable to assigned position
Exhibit positivity, flexibility, creativity and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum of one year experience of safely using powered industrial trucks (such as forklifts, stand-ups, sit-downs, cherry-pickers, etc.) and pallet jacks
Forklift certification preferred
Stand-up/reach truck certification preferred
Demonstrated ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis
Bending, twisting and/or squatting may be required
Flexible to work overtime with little or no notice
Ability to work a staggered or second shift
Experience with small package and LTL processing preferred
WMS system experience preferred
Good organization skills helpful
Previous data entry experience preferred
Basic computer skills preferred
Demonstrated ability to understand and follow instructions as directed
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
Demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision
Knowledge of proper problem-solving skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
RF (radio frequency) scanner experience preferred
Must have the physical ability and manual dexterity necessary to perform the duties pertaining to job
