Maintenance Technician

Adecco is currently recruiting for Set-up Technician in the Macedonia, Ohio area.
The Set-up Technician prepares the set-up of machines/equipment for the production of parts based on a production schedule. The Set-up Technician performs machine set-ups accurately and in a timely manner, while staying focused and maintaining strong communication with supervisors and operators. The Set-up Technician has the ability to detect and identify problems quickly and knows what to do if they occur. Responsible for inspecting molds and equipment before and after processing.
This Role Offers:
· Pay starts at $20-$21 an hour.
· Monday-Friday (7am-3:30pm)

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for set up and removal of tooling and fixtures in designated machines according to daily work orders.
• Maintains and updates the process forms for Recipe Books to ensure the accuracy of the start-ups for future production.
• Follows established safety procedures at all times and ensuring safety gates are in place while machines are operating.
• Responsible for processing first production part in accordance with quality standards at the start of each job.
• Understands the characteristics of the part being produced and shares that information with the production operator.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area and contributes to the overall production floor cleanliness
• Provides break relief for production operators as needed.
• Collaborates with Department Leads to develop and maintain the necessary documentation for continual support of the quality management system.
• Verifies the correct tool is being used, and inspects and cleans the tool before and after use
• Responsible for providing and implementing continuous process improvement to increase efficiency, reduce the rate of scrap and enhance customer satisfaction.
Knowledge & Skills:
Has excellent communication skills and can work effectively with employees at all levels.
Fluently Read, Write, Understand English
HS Diploma or equivalent.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $21.00 per hour
