Continuous Improvement – Green Belt

We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Green Belt to spearhead the continuous improvement projects at our facility. If you have successful 3PL (Third-party Logistics) industrial or continuous improvement engineering experience and are motivated by being a key player in Lean Six or Kaizen projects consider joining KuehneNagel in West Jefferson, OH.

Your Role

In this role, you will utilize Lean Six Sigma Knowledge for continuous improvement project execution. The Continuous Improvement Green Belt is the most active promoter of the continuous improvement culture across the site locally.

Your Responsibilities

You will manage the sitesContinuous Improvement (CI) program for quality and productivity,including the management of Kaizen activities and Lean Six projects

Present project portfoliosresulting from the Value Stream Analysis activity

Align projects and CI activity tomeet both Production System Savings targets and the regions productivityimprovement targets.

Ensure savings for the site arevalidated with financial controllers and data integrity is maintained

You will support the development ofproductivity management tools within the region to ensure measurement andmonitoring of productivity at process and site levels

Support operations in thedevelopment of Kuehne and Nagel Excellence levels in the region from Bluethrough Gold

You will work with the RegionalBlack Belt in the development and coaching of the Lean Six Sigma Yellowand Green Belts

Some travel will be necessary from timeto time for training and classes

Your Skills and Experiences

Degree in Supply Chain, IndustrialEngineering, or equivalent work experience

Lean Six Green Belt

Continuous Improvement experiencefor 3 – 5 years

5 years in a Warehousingenvironment

Project Management experiencefor 2- 5 years

Ability to travel for training andclasses as needed
