Job Description
We have openings for Plant Operators on the 2nd and 3rd shifts. The 2nd Shift operates from 2pm to 12:30am, Monday through Thursday, with Fridays off. The 3rd Shift starts Monday evening at 10:00pm and ends Friday morning at 8:30am. Shifts are 10.5 hours long, including a ½ hour unpaid lunch. This is a direct placement position with a starting pay rate of $20 per hour.
As a Chemical Mixer, you will:
• Meet with the 2nd shift foreman to discuss daily tasks.
• Train in various plant areas on different production procedures.
• Follow work instructions to mix pigments for paint.
• Wear a respirator during mixing operations.
• Lift bags weighing 50-60 lbs to add to the blender.
• Follow batch tickets with specific weights and procedures.
• Learn to run a paint kettle, pigment reactor, and grinding machine.
• Load bulk weigh stations.
• Use a computer to read SOPs and mixing procedures.
• Perform basic math calculations for batch weights.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Twinsburg, Ohio.
