Job Description
Installs new or modified equipment at customers facility. Reviews performance reports and documentation from customers and field representatives. Analyzes review and inspection findings to determine the source of the problem, and recommends repair, replacement, or other corrective action. Coordinates problem resolution with engineering. Provides on-site technical assistance to help troubleshoot and repair equipment. Analyzes reports of technical problems to determine trends affecting future design, production, service, and processes. Develops service handbooks and bulletins based on field investigations and engineering changes. Provides a communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure that effective service is provided to the customer.
Tuition reimbursement
Will travel up to 75 percent.
Hard Skills
3 years of previous field service experience
Electrical experience – commercial
Ability to read blueprints
Knowledge of electrical wiring and conduit requirements
Understanding of sensors and operating mechanisms
Previous experience troubleshooting motors

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Cleveland, Ohio.
Work Environment
Very large, clean manufacturing space attached to a multi-story office building. When not traveling, will spend time troubleshooting equipment. Work schedule involves 10-12 hour days with overtime paid at time and a half. Majority of jobs will last 3 days at a time, with some lasting up to 2 weeks. Travel expected 2-3 weeks a month, including some holidays such as Thanksgiving and 4th of July. Travel throughout the U.S., Mexico, and Canada.
