Forge Operator 28+

Job Title: Forge Operator $28HR (Direct Hire)

Job Description – 12 days on 2 days off

Forge Operator (Must be open to all shifts):

– Use robotic crane to load and unload steel to and from the forge

– Operate equipment that lifts up to 200 lbs of steel

– Operate, or tend presses and forging machines to perform hot or cold forging by flattening, straightening or bending metal

– Identify and manage processing sequences and furnace temperature

– Operate Heavy Industrial Machinery

– Perform dye checks of forgings

– Examine raw materials to verify quality is up to standard for forging

– Work with metals that go up to 800 degrees
