IT Intern – PM – Customer Channels

Job Description
Cintas is currently looking for an IT Intern for the Customer Channels team. The Customer Channels team manages and supports applications that Cintas customers use to pay bills, request changes, and purchase products. This position will have the opportunity to work closely with senior functional analysts and software developers participating in the planning and estimating process, documenting requirements, updating documentation, project management, and providing support for the application. The applicant must communicate effectively with business partners and have an aptitude to learn and understand Cintas business processes.
Role:
Work with functional analysts and software developers to develop, test, and deploy software solutions in support of Cintas’ customer facing applications
Learn and understand how critical business processes are automated via the Customer Channels applications
Work with and present your assignments and developed solutions to multiple levels of management
Opportunities:
Experience in planning and eliciting requirements and managing them through the software development lifecycle
Experience in planning and executing testing of application changes
Expose to project planning
Exposure to SAP Commerce technologies and online development tools
Exposure to Java coding related to online commerce sites
Skills/Qualifications
Requirements:
Currently enrolled in an associates, bachelors or masters degree program in computer science, information systems, or other IT-related field
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in engineering, information systems, and related technical support
Basic understanding of requirements planning, project management, and the application development process
Strong verbal and written communication skills along with a strong work ethic
