This position will work on highly complex projects that require in-depth domain knowledge in two or more specialized areas. You will lead the modernization of our secure development capabilities, improve our security engagement and assessment function, and partner directly with the business to secure systems before and as they are built. The ideal candidate will possess “big-picture” thinking and hands-on experience securing the latest enterprise technologies.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
Performed multi-dimensional architectural assessments based on risk, data type, identity, data landing zone, control adherence, and threat models to generate recommendations and designs
Collaborate with functional partners and technology leadership to define and maintain cyber infrastructure strategy
Present concepts, ideas, and plans that define, impact or influence key cyber objectives
Conduct risk assessments on software and system architectures
Provide strategic guidance on relevant security tools, technologies, and capabilities
Analyze, design and develop a roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.
Review and develops use cases and problems that need to be solved across multiple teams.
Leads the research and evaluation of emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities.
Support execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies. Partner with technical and functional teams external to the project to ensure their tasks are completed as required.
Proven history of effectively utilizing a variety of security tools and technologies across diverse environments. The ideal candidate will not be limited to specific vendors or solutions but will possess the technical depth to comprehend and implement an end-to-end solution that aligns with our reference security architectures requirements.
Provide practical cybersecurity direction toorganizational leaders and product teams.
Executeon strategic technical programs as a senior member of larger project teams.
Develop applicable security policies, standards, and interpret regulatory controls.
Work independently when necessary and be self-directed when appropriate.
Demonstrated customer focus – evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer, builds strong customer relationships, creates processes with customer viewpoint and partners with customers to help shape their future initiatives.
Provides leadership, technology guidance and mentors others throughout the domain.
Technical Expertise:
Experience with security architecture design and assessment of technologies such as SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, AI/ML etc.
Hands-on experience with Threat Models.
Advanced in one or more programming languages
Proficiency in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle and Model Development Life Cycle
Deep familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, OWASP, CIS, STIG, DFARrequirements
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 10 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 13 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 15 years of professional experience
Minimum 7 years of professional experience in Cyber Security Architecture or Solutions Architecture
Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

Desired Characteristics:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or in a STEM major
Prior experience as a senior levelcybersecurity architect
Strong grasp of modern software and cloud architectures
Demonstrated experience implementing strategic cybersecurity projects
Prior experience evaluating various technologies, including COTS and SaaS offerings
Experience developing summary briefings, specifically for diverse senior management
Strong, proven analytical & evaluative skills
Excellent consulting skills and superior client handling skills
Proven oral and written communications abilities
Knows the latest evolving technologies via formal training or proactive education
Broadly recognized as a subject-matter by colleagues and/or industry
