Job Title: QA/QC TechnicianJob Description
The QA/QC Technician’s role is to assist the Quality Manager in maintaining an ISO-compliant quality system, oversee the quality of incoming materials and outgoing finished products, and monitor, evaluate, and correct quality issues within the manufacturing process. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: – Evaluating and recording quality data. – Performing and recording incoming inspections on all raw materials. – Completing in-process quality control and quality assurance tests on products. – Conducting finished product tests. – Maintaining an inventory of laboratory resins. – Performing and maintaining records of testing equipment calibrations. – Issuing and controlling Return Authorizations forms. – Monitoring all non-conforming products. – Ensuring all functions of assigning new raw materials are completed and maintaining records of raw material technical specifications. – Assisting the Quality Manager in reviewing incoming orders to establish correct specifications by preparing, revising, and issuing Product Control Plans to establish customer requirements and product specifications. – Updating and maintaining QC spreadsheet record revisions. – Performing and maintaining current revisions of quality documentation. – Performing and monitoring customer quality issues, corrective and preventative actions, and cost of quality determination.
