What would I be doing?
The incumbent is responsible for developing and coordinating programs to attract high-limitplayers and host such guests to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat visits. The position iscalled upon to interact frequently with high-limit customers and make decisions regardingextensions of large sums of money and complimentary services and/or goods.
Responsibilities
Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to have Belterra Casino Resort as theircasino of choice; responsible for actively building and retaining customer relations andacts as a mentor to employees to provide superior customer service.
Provides, develops and focuses on the acquisition of high-end players within the localand external market, cultivates and develops groups with potential gaming profiles,assuring continued growth of the customer database market.
Works with various customer contact departments to develop and implement strategiesand programs to cultivate the market for new high-limit casino guests or to reactiveinactive guests from identified player database.
Monitors existing high-limit guest programs and develops knowledge of customer bettinghabits, credit situations and levels of participation to manage programs to ensuremaximum profit margins, adequate play levels and appropriate cost control; awardscustomer complimentary services and/or goods based on gaming action and programguidelines.
Coordinates guestrooms, meals and show reservations, and assists guests withquestions and special request to ensure coordination of guests needs to provide theirmaximum convenience and comfort.
Facilitates guest and group event and activities, including traveling to off-property specialevents.
Serves as primary point of contact for any independent agents/representatives withgroups visiting the property.
Understands and monitors department objectives, standards, guidelines and budget toensure proper supervision of department.
Works with various customer contact departments to develop and implement strategiesand programs to cultivate the market for new and existing high-limit casino guests.
Organize special functions (parties, tournaments, etc.) and participate in telemarketingefforts to invite customers to special events, individual visits and/or obtain feedback oncustomer satisfaction.
Incumbent is not permitted to accept gratuities.
What are we looking for?
Ability to use all equipment associate with the position, including player-tracking system, computer keyboard, telephone.
Ability to review and comprehend player tracking screens, reports, and all other necessary information and documentation.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and all levels of employees.
Ability to observe and direct actions of subordinates.
Ability to effectively and efficiently move around all work areas.
Flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.
Demonstrated knowledge of all casino gaming, as well as regular high-limit customersand their betting habits, to make knowledgeable decisions regarding credit extensions.
Ability to communicate effectively to understand and meet the needs of preferredcustomers.
Ability to analyze and interpret financial data to make decisions regarding credit limits.
Ability to network and establish relationships with individual prospective customers andgroups that display and demonstrate potential gaming value.
Must be able to obtain and maintain all appropriate licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
These skills and abilities are typically acquired through bachelor’s degree in business or liberal arts and a minimum of two years progressive casino customer contact experience, with at least one year in a casino service role administering a player-tracking system; or through a high school education or equivalent, and three years progressive casino services in a development role administering a player-tracking system.
