Job Description

Join our Dispersion Department where you will handle graphite, a very fine, dark dust that sticks to clothing, walls, and shoes. You will manage about five machines: three medium-sized ones where youll attach bags on top, one large water-based machine, and one smaller oil-based machine. Responsibilities include tracking weight, hand pouring products, and monitoring the machines. You must follow recipes and directions accurately, documenting your steps in our online system. All employees receive cross-training in other departments and forklift certification.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Saline, Michigan.

Work Environment

Work in a larger warehouse with three different bays: powder room (entry level), Neat Oil room (more technical), and Dispersion (graphite). The warehouse is hot in the summer, not temperature controlled, and dusty. A new dust collector installed in 2021 makes the dust bearable. Winters can be colder, but machinery helps maintain an okay temperature. The production team currently consists of 13 people.
