Instructional Systems Designer

Job Description

Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking for an Instructional Systems Designer to join the team of their largest OEM client in the Automotive Industry. This person will be working within the clients Global Data Insights & Analytics organization and will be consulting subject matter experts and customers on delivering training materials & content, and delivering that content through primarily a virtual live event model.

 - Specific Responsibilities:

   Work with subject matter experts to analyze training needs

   Develop learning objectives, design instructional materials, & evaluate the effectiveness of the training program.

   Collaborate with customers and subject matter experts to identify and analyze training needs.

   Develop learning objectives and design instructional materials, including online courses, manuals, job aids, and multimedia materials.

   Use adult learning principles to create engaging and effective training programs.

   Evaluate the effectiveness of the training program and make necessary improvements.

   Develop assessment tools to measure learning outcomes and provide feedback to learners.

   Research and stay up-to-date on instructional design trends and technologies.

   Communicate with stakeholders and team members to ensure successful project completion.

Compensation:

$45/hr to $53/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

Preferred:

 - Graphic design background is preferred

 - Professional writing background is huge

   Persuasive writing

 - Prior AI or Analytics experience Qualifications:

  3 years working as an instructional designer

   Expertise in talent development strategies & content

  Bachelors degree in related field of study

  Expertise in needs assessment- identifying & analyzing needs of new customers & content

  Proficiency with instructional design software and authoring tools.

   Experience with SharePoint, as well as PowerPoint

  Strong soft skills

   Excellent written and verbal communication & writing skills

Strategic & curious mindset around content & training development null
