Job Title: Welder

Job Description

MIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum for internal car wash components. Short run production welding, with projects ranging from 20 to 100 pieces per order before moving on to another project. Candidates should be able to flat weld steel and aluminum together, with training available for roll welding from a pole to a base piece. Materials involved include 3/8″ to 1/2″ and 1/8″ to 1/2″ thicknesses. Welding and fabrication of poles and bases will be a significant part of the job. During downtime, tasks may include cutting future materials on a band saw. Only one shift is available from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. Once experienced, there is an opportunity to start at 6am for an hour of overtime. This position typically involves 40-45 hours per week.

This is a fully on-site position in NA, Michigan.

Work Environment

Big welding and metal cutting facility in Auburn. The position requires adherence to company policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and continuously improving area processes.
