Community Brand Ambassador

POSITION PURPOSE

The Community Brand Ambassador serves as the face of Wildfire Credit Union within the communities we serve. This individual is responsible for building and nurturing relationships with community organizations, coordinating partnerships that align with our mission of member service, and enhancing the credit unions visibility and presence through strategic community engagement. The Brand Ambassador will help foster a positive brand image, promote financial literacy, and strengthen the credit unions commitment to serving members and the broader community.

In addition, the purpose of this position is to assist Wildfire Credit Union in fulfilling our Vision, “To build life-long relationships that benefit our members and communities.” To achieve this goal the employee must deliver high quality service to both internal and external members in alignment with our Service Promises.  A key element of this service delivery is to recommend credit union products and services that will improve each members financial well-being.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification:   Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.                                         

Required Knowledge:  3 to 5 years of experience in community engagement, public relations, marketing, or a similar role.                                                                                         

Skills/Abilities:   Strong knowledge of the local community and its needs.  Excellent communication and public speaking skills.  Experience in event planning and community outreach.  Good math skills.  Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.  Proficiency with social media platforms and public relations strategies.  Passionate about community service and the credit union movement. 

Must be able to travel within the Credit Unions service area to engage with community organizations and attend events.

Must have ability to work evenings and weekends to attend community events.
