What Pricing Strategy contributes to Cardinal Health

Revenue Management is responsible for developing, communicating, and leading the execution of market strategy and profitability optimization through pricing and value-capture activities at both the strategic and tactical levels. The group uses modeling, analytics, and econometrics to create pricing strategies for our products and services.

Pricing Strategy acts to set overarching deal and product pricing strategies, provides guidance on value to help inform the negotiation strategy, and creates standard offer designs and target profitability for each business unit or customer segment.

This role will directly support Cardinal Healths Optifreight business.

Responsibilities

Manage a Salesforce case queue, focusing on meeting customer facing deadlines

Participate in operational pricing tasks such as pricing tier loads, customer pricing research, credit and rebill requests, and competitive invoice analysis

Responsible for weekly/monthly/yearly updates to our tools with the most relevant information from FedEx and other data sources

Assist the team with improving current processes both internally and cross functionally

Qualifications

2-4 years of experience preferred

BA, BS preferred, or equivalent experience in related field preferred

Experience working with Salesforce, SQL server (running queries) and Optifreight tools is a plus

Works on projects of moderate scope and complexity

Identifies possible solutions to a variety of technical problems and takes action to resolve

Applies judgment within defined parameters

Receives general guidance and may receive more detailed instruction on new projects

Work reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy

Anticipated salary range: $56,200 – $80,400
