We are looking for an experienced consulting professional who has an understanding of the Inpatient Nursing and Ancillaries solution, industry best practices, and multiple business processes or technology designs. You will operate independently to provide quality work products to an engagement as well as perform varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle Health Inpatient Nursing products and technology to meet customer needs. You will apply Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practice recommendations with workflows while working across the continuum of Nursing and Ancillaries staff including, Nurses, Dietitians, Respiratory Therapists and more.
As a Principal Consultant, you will play a key role in consulting with customers on comprehensive service line workflows, from current state assessments to future state design. You will ensure the system is designed and tested effectively and collaborate with customers to create and validate workflow processes. Your responsibilities will include identifying and resolving issues, reporting solution status and risks, and communicating with both customers and project leadership. Additionally, you will coach customers on data collection and system design requirements, analyze optimal solution builds, and oversee the implementation process. You will also engage with internal project and organizational teams to share configuration status, project timelines, updates, and verify configuration requests. As a vital team member, you will maintain strong customer relationships across the Inpatient Nursing and Ancillaries (INA) solution, navigate through conflicts, and mentor associate consultants while supporting internal initiatives.
Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
At least 1 year of experience in healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support, HCIT Build, or other client-facing IT solution roles.
An additional 4 years of work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Self-starter capable of independently handling tasks and projects.
U.S. citizenship required due to client contracts.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in system design and build.
Experience in workflow documentation.
Experience in conversion and current state assessment.
Strong presentation skills to effectively communicate complex information to clients and stakeholders
Knowledge and experience with system tools for configuration of electronic medical records.
Understanding of Nursing and Ancillary-related workflows
Responsibilities
Current state assessment and conversion coverage
Documenting and developing workflows across the Inpatient Nursing and Ancillary (INA) solution
Presenting complex information to customers and stakeholders
Understanding and completing configuration within Powerforms, Interactive View, ESH, Dyn Doc, Bedrock, dcptools, and other system build tools
Explaining and documenting INA-related workflows
Career Level – IC3
Expectations:
Must reside in or be willing to relocate to an approved virtual location.
Willingness to travel up to 50% as required.
Ability to work additional or irregular hours as needed, in accordance with local regulations.
Strong ability to collaborate with team members and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Adherence to corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understanding your role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and taking appropriate actions to prevent and report any security compromises within the scope of your position.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
5-7 years of experience relevant to this position including 2 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
