Job Title: CNC Programmer

Job Description

This manufacturing company in Davenport is in need of a CNC Programmer to join our team on 1st shift. We produce foundry tooling for all industries, including but not limited to resource & mining, construction, commercial pipe wrenches, hydraulic components, heavy equipment, engine components, and large municipal pipe fittings and adapters. The candidate will consistently work on Fadal and HAAS CNC Mill Machines. Responsibilities include programming and machining, setting up the machines, and ensuring they run properly. Our business involves modeling, draft patterns, core prints, foundry work, and 3D CAD modeling. Experience with MasterCam is a plus.

Hard Skills

Programming, troubleshooting, and setting up CNC machines

At least 2 years of CNC machining experience

Prior CNC programming experience (familiarity with CAD/3D modeling, working with cut files, drafting molds)

Work Environment

Well-lit, can be dirty at times. About 10 total employees. The programmer role will be in the machine shop and behind a desk as well. The majority of machines are HAAS in the machining room. The candidate needs to be able to hop around and work/check on multiple machines. The shop has a mix of newer and older machines, as well as a woodshop for making molds out of wood/plastic.

Additional Details

1st shift hours only!

7:00am-3:30pm Monday through Friday

Minimal weekends

Optional OT if needed
