Job Title: Chemical EngineerJob Description
Interface with customers to understand their needs and develop a scope of work. Develop a technical solution using existing systems to achieve the desired customer outcome. Participate in design validation, including pilot plant equipment and laboratory testing. Design pilot plant test plans, develop processing equipment, and collaborate with pilot plant technicians and chemists to perform system testing. Develop process improvement strategies based on laboratory data. Perform heat and mass balance calculations, hydraulic calculations, and determine optimal equipment for processes. Interpret technical data to create proposals and cost estimates. Manage projects from start to finish, including negotiating pricing and quotes with vendors. Prepare material cost estimates for thermal systems. Provide technical support and information to clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Hartland, Wisconsin.
Work Environment
On-site work at the R&D Facility in Hartland. Interaction with customers, vendors, engineers, chemists, and lab technicians. Collaborative environment involving all levels of the organization. Flexible schedule with core hours typically from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m., working 40 to 45 hours per week. Potential for additional hours during deadlines or issues. Minimal weekend work.
