Job Title: Quality Technician
Job Description
We are a Corporation that is the innovator in mobile shelving systems, library shelving, art rack storage, gun lockers, weapons lockers, and evidence lockers. Also getting into the Marijuana industry for shelving and storage.
As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for completing First Article Inspections (FAI), incoming product inspections, processing audits, and supporting shop floor quality issue resolutions. You will also be responsible for the FAI process, incoming inspections, shop issue resolutions, equipment calibration, part validation (as required), process audits, and the support of corrective actions. The Quality Technician will lead ISO 9001:2008 documentation support, manufacturing area audits, and inspections to ensure that the Spacesaver production process remains capable of producing to customer requirements.
Hard Skills
2-5 years of Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing environment
ASQC certification (a plus)
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
Proficiency in the use of mechanical inspection equipment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
Experience in supporting and maintaining inspection systems
Ability to lead the support of an ISO9001 quality system for a manufacturing operation
Ability to analyze data, identify problem areas, and assist in resolution of manufacturing process issues
Understanding of sheet metal fabrication, paint, and assembly processes (a plus)
Experience using micrometers and calipers on the shop floor and quality room

This is a permanent position.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin.
Work Environment
Larger facility of 400 employees over 3 shifts. This position will be a split shift 11:00am – 7pm with a $3.00 shift premium. The salary range for this role starts at $22.39.
