Job Description

We are, a leader in the design and manufacture of piercing tools, bursting systems, pneumatic hammers, and horizontal directional drill tooling, seeks a skilled Welder. Our products are used globally to install or replace fiber, communication, water, sewer, and gas lines with minimal disruption to above-ground landscapes, structures, and traffic flow. Recently acquired by a company that manufactures lawn care equipment, we are expanding our team.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Lake Mills, Wisconsin.

Work Environment

Our facility is very clean and organized with high ceilings. There is no AC in the summer, but doors remain open, and we provide Gatorade and ice cream to keep you cool. We have 55-60 employees in the shop, with 3 different weld groups and 12 bays. Shifts available: 1st shift from 6am-3pm, with mandatory 45-50 hours per week and potential for 50-60 hours. OT is before or after the shift. 2nd shift from 2:45-11:45pm, currently working 10-hour days with OT after the shift. Safety gear required: steel toes, weld helmet, weld gloves.
