This position will provide in-depth financial reporting and analysis, ensuring best practices in accordance to FAR, DFAR, and CAS regulations . Review and synthesize financial data to prepare various analytics and metrics for presentation to senior management and external constituencies.

If you are located outside of La Crosse, WI, Eden Prairie, MN, you will enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain processes and procedures for accurate and timely delivery and analysis of Client Billing data, ensuring best practices and adhere to contractual terms

Develop and maintain internal control structure and procedures for A/R and Billing along with reporting of related deliverables

Resolve high level Client Billing issues

Manage the audit process of Client Billing and work with outside auditors regarding issues

Oversee the preparation and analysis of internal and external reporting ensuring the quality, reliability, and timeliness of A/R and Billing reports

Provide operational and technical expertise to ensure compliance with GAAP, Revenue Recognition, Company policies, Contractual terms, rules, regulations, and laws

Summarize Client Billing status on the monthly, quarterly, or annual reports to senior management

Serves as primary liaison for Program (internal) and IT teams to implement and execute government contract deliverables and contract modifications

Support the Company’s financial and operational planning and initiatives including financial systems used for Client Billing

Support various special projects as required

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

5 years of demonstrated progression in AR and Billing, including experience with reporting and analysis

3 years of supervisory experience

Demonstrated advanced PC skills: Excel and Word

Demonstrated advanced analytical and information gathering skills; demonstrated ability to evaluate and prioritize extensive detailed data

Demonstrated ability to effectively use accounting knowledge to collaborate with varying levels of employees and senior management to drive sound business decisions

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with federal or state government contracts

Experience with Deltek Costpoint

Working knowledge of Indirect Rate Structures and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and applicability to pricing and billing practices

Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
