About our group: Seagate is seeking a highly motivated Sales Analyst Intern work directly with the Global OEM Sales Team. This role reports to the Senior Director Global OEM Sales. The Global OEM Sales Team is a customer-focused, data-driven, dynamic, and nimble group recognized by our partners as one of the best sales organizations in the data storage industry. It is an exciting time to join the Seagate team. About the role – you will: Assist the Global OEM team in data gathering and analytics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Pricing, Marketing, Operations) for data gathering and reporting. Support the modeling of Sales in and Sales Out forecasts for the region. Help develop and manage metrics to support regional goals. Contribute to continuous process improvement and automation in reporting and data. Assist the Senior Sales Director with data reports for executive business reviews and presentations. Learn about sales and pricing trends to recommend actions for the organization. Work with the Sales Team on Global OEM TAM and Outlook Numbers and Files. Act as a liaison for all reporting and data needs in the region. Support sales teams with customer market trend information. Create ad hoc reports or data outputs as needed. Build spreadsheets and presentations with data analysis. Build strong relationships and deliver timely, accurate, and professional operational support as needed. About you: Self-starter with a proactive attitude. Excellent communicator and team player. Strong computer skills. Analytical capabilities with the ability to take data and recommend solutions or ideas. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong attention to detail and proofreading skills. Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office. Comfortable with change and ambiguity. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple ongoing projects. Highly organized, able to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little to no guidance and tight deadlines. Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative in a challenging, fast-paced environment. Your experience includes: Experience using analysis, reporting, modeling, and forecasting to gather data for business decisions. Familiarity with analytical, sales, and productivity tools including Salesforce.com and SAP. Proven problem-solving skills, project management skills, and the ability to deal with ambiguity. Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams. Must be pursuing a bachelors degree and enrolled in Fall 2025 classes. Location: Our Shakopee campus is located 25 minutes southwest of Minneapolis in a setting with a rural vibe – it overlooks a horse racing track and stables, yet it has great entertainment venues close by as well. With wide-open spaces, the campus has plenty of space for running, biking, shooting some hoops or playing volleyball over lunch.
