Job Title: Deburrer
Job Description
Thoroughly examine machined parts for burrs, defects, and other foreign object debris (FOD). Utilize proper procedures to remove FOD and correct any defects while maintaining a high level of part quality. Responsible for effective and efficient examination of machined parts. Serves as a quality checkpoint for parts prior to shipping to customers. Identifies and corrects any part defects. Works with proper tooling to remove any foreign object debris. Deburring/polishing parts all day (30% microscope work). Informs the lead of any recurring quality issues to foster process improvement. Maintains work area in a neat and orderly condition; practices FOD control. Works safely and complies with all established safety rules, work practices, policies, and procedures. Expresses a positive work attitude and promotes a “team” approach throughout the department and company. Strives for continuous improvement in the accomplishment of day-to-day responsibilities as an active, participating work-team member. Performs related work as assigned by supervisor and/or lead.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Bloomington, Minnesota.
Work Environment
Very clean job-shop environment, with a team culture. Dress code is casual with closed-toed shoes, no shorts, and PPE required. The new Director of Operations has fostered a team environment where employees are willing to be cross-trained and help out where needed.
