As a Material Handler, youll be involved in all processes of handling incoming parts, outgoing orders, stocking the warehouse, pulling BOMs for truck builds, and keeping a clean and organized warehouse.This position will be located at the Bloomington, MN branch for Aspen Equipment and reports to the Engineering Manager.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Pulling/picking BOMs for truck buildsAssist walk-in customers with their ordersReceive and distribute UPS/Fed Ex shipmentsReceive and check-in partsStock parts in correct locationsPO ReceivingReceive all ship-direct ordersUnload parts and shipments from carrierInvoice all documents/orders on a daily basisWill call order fulfillmentUPS Ship outsLTL Ship outsMaintain organization of the warehouseClean warehouse as needed to ensure it remains free of debris.Resolve inventory issues when the Materials Manager is out of the officeOther duties as assigned by managementJOB REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or GED requiredBasic computer skillsForklift operation Both stand-up and seated typesComfort level with large Hyster forkliftAbility to understand fundamentals of mechanical systems as related to the commercial truck industryHEALTH & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:Perform job functions in a safe manner.Wear all Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.) required by Company policy for the job being performed.Know and follow established job specific and facility wide safety and health procedures and rules.Actively participate in safety and health training and demonstrate competency based on training received.Bring safety and health issues, unsafe acts, and safety suggestions to managements attention or correct those you can.BENEFITS:Competitive total rewards package including benefits and 401(k) beginning day one of employmentContinuing education and training opportunities, tuition reimbursement for those who qualifyVacation and Holiday payPaid Parental LeaveAnd Much More!WORKING CONDITIONS:The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
