Job Description:
Provides Athletic Trainer services to patients ranging from adolescent to geriatric in a sports or clinical environment, i.e. physical therapy clinic, schools and athletic events, including evaluation and assessment, education, treatment and consultation services and related patient care services under the supervision of the team physician. Provides patient care activities under direct supervision of a physician in a musculoskeletal clinical setting.

Athletic training program graduate
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
NATA board certification (BOC) required upon hire.
Registered by Board of Medical Practice per state guidelines. (See new graduate exception below)
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required upon hire
New graduates of Athletic Training program may begin orientation, but they may not perform athletic trainer duties until state licensure is active. For new graduates, state licensure application must be submitted prior to start date and will be required within 90 days of hire.
