Structural Welding Foreman – Start ASAP – $30/$40 an Hour
Description:
We are a large general contractor based out of Sioux Falls that specializes in large-scale commercial structural steel projects. We are looking for a motivated steel foreman who is looking for a pivotal leadership role to advance our growing team. We place a major emphasis on building a team-oriented culture and take pride in rewarding our employees based on performance.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible with ensuring our projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and upholds our companys standards.
You will be communicating and coordinating with subcontractors to accurately complete projects in a safe but efficient manner.
Read construction plans and drawings to determine how to complete the job.
You will be coordinating all labor, materials, and equipment required to complete projects.
You will be responsible with assisting structural welders/iron workers and performing hands on work with the crew.
You will be responsible with ordering materials, supplies, and equipment depending on the project.
You will be facilitating team development and growth, employee skill development, problem-solving and resolution, building employee commitment and ownership and holding employees accountable.
Pay:
$30/$40 an hour

Qualifications:
Preferably 5 years of steel and/or precast erection experience
Team leadership experience preferred but need to have ability to lead a crew
OSHA 10 or 30 preferred
