Job Summary
Coordinates the overall recreational activities at Avera Rosebud Country Care Center. Coordinates volunteer program at Avera Rosebud Country Care Center including recruitment, orientation, education and scheduling of volunteers and staff. Collaborates with Priests, local ministers and lay persons to conduct the Ecumenical services in the facility. Conducts Ecumenical services in the absence of ministers or lay persons. Facilitates the annual memorial service recognizing the residents who have passed away within the last year. Maintains supplies for Chapel, Priests and Funeral services.
Education and/or Experience
Associate’s degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Completion of a state-approved activities coordinator training program required.
CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS
Activity Coordinator Certification required, and Certified as a nursing assistant in the state of South Dakota required.
This position requires a valid driver’s license and that the employee is insurable by the Avera Health automobile liability insurance carrier.
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 
$17.50 – $21.25 per hour
