Quality Supervisor Job Description

The QA Supervisor at our plant will oversee the quality assurance processes to ensure that all products meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. This role involves supervising QA staff, conducting inspections, and implementing quality control procedures.

Supervise QA Team: Lead and manage the QA team, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.

Quality Control: Oversee daily quality control operations, including sampling, testing, and inspection of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations, including FDA, USDA, and HACCP standards.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality assurance activities, including test results, inspections, and audits.

Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the QA processes and implement corrective actions to enhance product quality.

Audits: Conduct internal audits and support external audits by regulatory agencies and customers.

Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve quality issues, working closely with production and other departments to implement solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree

3-5 years QA experience in food industry
