Job Title: Sample Entry Analyst I

Job Description

A customer-facing role with responsibility for facilitating and expediting the processing of customer service requests. The Sample Entry Analyst I serves as the portal for the exchange of information between customers and technical/administrative staff, ensuring a positive customer experience. This role involves overall ownership of entering submitted samples into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).

Essential Skills

Receive submitted samples/service requests and initiate workflow/traceability through entry of requests and associated customer information into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)

Manage prioritization of submitted samples

Work safely and contribute to a safe and orderly working environment

Act as customer initial and ongoing contact, handling internal and external customer service inquiries (e.g., available services, pricing, turnaround time, status, billing, etc.) through various communication mediums and in person

Manage customer sample/project needs and serve as liaison between customers and personnel

Assist customers in obtaining their analytical data, including report distribution electronically or by mail

Act impartially and work in accordance with the management system

Good collaboration and communication skills

Previous experience in data entry/database management

Experience with Microsoft Windows suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Science background encouraged

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 84 Week(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Saint Louis, MO.

Work Environment

This position is on-site Monday – Friday, from 7 am to 3:30 pm. Attendance and punctuality are very important.
