POSITION SUMMARY
The Strategic Planning Advisor is an exciting opportunity for those looking to use their organizational, administrative, and analytical skills to make a positive impact in the PBM Health Plan Clinical Team, while expanding their knowledge of the health care industry. This position aids and supports the delivery of clinical strategy for the PBM Health Plan Clinical Team. The Strategic Planning Advisor provides expert content/professional leadership on complex Strategic Planning assignments/projects to support the Health Plan Division’s Clinical Account Management Leadership Team. Focuses on providing thought leadership within Strategic Planning but works on broader projects, which require understanding of wider business. Recognized internally as a subject matter expert.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Work collaboratively to gather/request data.
Provide analytical findings used in development of clinical strategy.
Support and develop reporting to monitor performance metrics related to divisional scorecard and rebate guarantees.
Create administrative and operational efficiencies within the clinical team.
Actively take part in formal and informal training programs and professional development activities
Effectively contribute to virtual teams, organizational committees, and work groups
Staffing capacity planning
Work across internal cross functional partners to influence on behalf of divisional needs and demands.
Aids with oversight and management to business division, develops tools and training for conducting work plan goals, and represents the business division as a point of contact for various corporate initiatives including developing and implementing process improvement initiatives with broader CAE, peer audience, Clinical product teams, and Knowledge Solutions
QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree in related field
4-6 years relevant experience
Strong PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong Project management skills
Superior verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Quick study, high energy, self-starter, approachable, and collaborative
Strong business acumen
Flexibility, keen to improve organizational effectiveness.
Demonstrated ability managing projects, using proven project management processes.
Ability to work cross-functionally to proactively communicate and to resolve issues with the highest sense of urgency.
Ability to travel overnight up to 10-15%.
Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment.
Meticulous with strong organizational and project management skills.
Must be able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, make decisions, and resolve complex issues.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
