Customer Service Sample Entry Analyst

Description:
A customer facing role with responsibility for facilitating and expediting the processing of customer service requests, the Sample Entry Analyst I is the portal for the exchange of information between customers and Analytical Labs technical/administrative staff, ensuring a positive customer experience, and overall ownership of entering submitted samples into the laboratory information management system (LIMS).
Responsibilities:
• Receive submitted samples/service requests and Initiate work flow/traceability through entry of requests and associated customer information into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
• Manages prioritization of submitted samples
• Work safely and contribute to a safe and orderly working environment
• Acts as customer initial and ongoing contact, handling internal and external customer service inquiries (e.g. available services, pricing, turnaround time, status, billing, etc.) through various communication mediums and in person
• Manage customer sample/project needs and serve as liaison between customers and personnel
• Assist customers in obtaining their analytical data, including report distribution electronically or by mail
• Act impartially, and work in accordance with the management system in place

• Should be able to work in a high pace environment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Good collaboration and communication skills necessary.
• Being able to lift 20 lbs
• Data entry /data base previous experience desired.
• Microsoft windows suite experience (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Science background encouraged.
