Facility Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Aerotek is hiring full-time facility maintenance technicians for several partners in the St. Louis metro area. Technicians are responsible for preventative and reparative maintenance of education, healthcare, and corporate campuses. Job duties include: completing PMs according to daily, weekly, and monthly schedules; diagnosing and troubleshooting facility components and systems; providing excellent customer service; and assisting contract service providers with projects.

We are seeking candidates with general building maintenance experience who also have specialty in:

HVAC

Electricity

Plumbing

First shift opportunities, Monday through Friday with opportunity for overtime. Second, third, and weekend shifts available too.

Requirements

At least two years of building maintenance experience within commercial, corporate, education, or healthcare environments

Trade school diploma strongly preferred

For HVAC: experience maintaining and servicing commercial grade units (AHU, VAV, chillers, boilers), EPA certifications

For Electrical: NEC certification and training, ability to install and troubleshoot 110V, 220V, 480V

For Plumbing: sinks, toilets, drains, sprinkler systems, pipefitting and cutting experience, basic welding

Experience using CMMS for work orders

Experience using BAS for facility systems management

Strong customer service skills

Familiarity with contracted service coordination
