Supply Planner – Royal Canin
The Supply Planner role is to ensure product availability with the right volume at the right time for targeted service level and reduced risk of obsoletes (SLOBS), for best quality for customer satisfaction.
The Supply planner executes the strategy to enable volume growth and service delivery at optimal costs and inventory over the mid to long term (Mid-Term:0-12 weeks to Long Term: 2 years) for their technology. Supply Planner Is the central point of communication between the Markets and the Factories on the impact of any Demand or Supply constraints.
What are we looking for?
– .Minimum of a Bachelors Degree
– Minimum 5 years of experience in E2E Supply Chain (Planning, Factory Operations, Procurement, Logistics, Industrial Engineering)
– Demonstrated advanced knowledge/expertise of FMCG supply chain, specifically supply planning and inventory management preferred
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office (with advanced proficiency in Excel)and advanced planning systems
– Strong data analysis and complex problem-solving experience
– Analytical and proven time management skills along with effective communication skills
– Ability to effectively engage with both internal and external stakeholders at various levels of the organization through SandOE process.
What will be your key responsibilities?
– Partner with demand and supply chain teams to translate and validate demand plans into a feasible supply plan projection in a 0 to 3 period horizon as part of the Monthly Business Planning process (SandOP) to achieve sustainable supply plan accuracy.
– Weekly monitor the line utilization, forecast and stock development and proactively anticipation on product mix constraints and utilization peaks. Analyze demand changes, the impact on capacity/CSL/stocks, and recommend or drive actions for issue resolution with stakeholders.
– Prepare the supply plan Capacity Feeder Meeting, local SCMR and be key contact in the Regional SCMR and RMOS/CMOS (periodic and weekly sessions with the markets) and Factory Supply Review.
– Excellent execution of launches, item changes and discontinuations in close collaboration with activity management, markets, production, logistics and commercial.
– Lead and contribute to continuous improvement projects and process/planning tool improvements
– Data maintenance in local systems
– Continuous improvement of processes, systems, KPIs and ways of working.
