Instrument Fitter
Must be able to install and remove various instrumentation, such as
indicators, recorders, telemetry, controllers, transmitters, transducers
and analyzers used to measure and control variables, such as pressure,
flow and temperature. This is accomplished by performing the following
essential duties and responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
– Reads and works from related blueprints and other schematic
drawings.
– Cuts, bends, and installs pipe tubing or conduit for the
installation of air or process lines for instrument controls using
hacksaws and pipe cutters for the proper installation of the
instrumentation device.
– Install instrument stands.
– May steam trace lines when necessary.
– May install flanges and orifice plates.
– May repair steam traps.
– Threaded piping fabrication.
– Other duties as assigned.

Education no minimum education requirements.
Experience 3-5 years of Journeyman level experience.
