The Project Manager role will lead and manage software development
projects and software deployment projects from inception to delivery.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT, particularly in
software development, and will be responsible for ensuring that projects
are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. You will work
closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business
analysts, QA engineers, and external stakeholders, to deliver
high-quality software products that meet client requirements.
Essential Job Duties
– Manages allocated product projects according to timelines, budget
and quality standards.
– Manages activities of multiple cross-functional teams and
collaborates with engineering, product, and implementation teams to
ensure project dependencies are identified and communicated.
– Adapts to new situations in interacting with different stakeholders.
Builds and maintains trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
Advanced practice in emotional intelligence; manages emotions, as
well as recognizes and influences the emotions of others. High
degree of change-agility, flexibility, and adaptability.
– Develops and manages project/action plans to ensure accurate
customer on-boarding and account readiness.
– Produces and reviews project plans; assesses Work Breakdown
Structure (WBS), resource loading, dependencies, and milestones.
– Develops and manages project budgets. Evaluates percentage complete,
tracks actuals to budget and mitigates overspend, tunes resource
model to adhere to budget guidelines.
– Ensures risks/issues are surfaced and mitigated, escalating thorough
information as appropriate, and provides tracking to budget and
timeline.
– Oversees the delegation of work for indirect reports both onshore
and offshore, and establishes a culture of teamwork and cooperation
with a diverse team of varying levels of experience and background,
while accomplishing the goals of the project.
– Track and report on project management progress and activities.
