## Distinguishing Features of Work
This is experienced seasonal supervisory public contact work responsible
for ensuring the safety of patrons and overseeing daily operations at OJ
Watson Park.
THIS IS A LIMITED PART-TIME POSITION
The day and hours for this position: varies

## Examples of Work Performed
– Supervises staff and day to day operations.
– Completes daily incident and cash reports.
– Patrols the park grounds.
– Serves as liaison between the staff and Park Manager.
– Operates cash register.
– May perform custodial work.

– Other related duties may be assigned as needed.
## Requirements of Work
– Ability to listen to, read, interpret and apply instructions
received
– Ability to plan, organize and supervise the work of others
– Ability to lift empty containers weighing up to 50 lbs. up to a
4-foot height
– Ability to lift and move large, sometimes bulky objects weighing up
to 80 lbs. with assistance
– Ability to move about quickly, and stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop
or squat, as needed to perform assigned tasks
– Ability to work outdoors in unpleasant weather conditions
– Ability to tolerate airborne nuisances associated with open grounds
and windy conditions
– Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with
associates and the public
– Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in
writing
– An employee will not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of
other individuals in the workplace
## Required Experience and Training
Required Experience and Training
–
Must be at least 18 years old.
– Must have a valid Kansas drivers license.
– Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the
need of a sponsorship
Previous Experience and Training
– Previous customer service experience.
– Previous experience in supervisory or leadership role.
– Previous experience with Cash handling.
– Previous experience in maintenance work.
