Diesel Mechanic

We are looking for a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Monroe, LA ., at our hauling site.

Shift starts at 3:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., 50-60 hours a week. Monday – Friday, occasional Saturday’s.

Pay Range: $20/hr. – 23/hr.

Tool allowance of $150 per month towards your tool kit.

On top of competitive wages, we offer excellent benefits, 401k match $1 per $1, and vacation.

Job Summary

Performing preventative maintenance, repairs on hydraulic and electrical systems, along with parts replacement and minor engine repair on our garbage trucks.

The ideal candidate will possess:

2 years of relevant work experience in diesel/heavy truck fleet maintenance.

ASE Certifiedis a plus.

Class A or BCDLis a plus.

The salary range for this position is $20/hr. – 23/hr. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
