Job Summary:
The TRIO SSS Transfer/Career Specialist is primarily responsible for
participating in recruitment and identification of project participants,
obtaining and ensuring the accuracy of student information for program
intake, preparing and monitoring success plans for 40% of the students
served, assisting participants with admissions procedures and
requirements at transfer institutions, coordinating transfer trips to
various institutions, coordinating career assessment and career advising
procedures, maintaining participant records including individual student
folders documenting program eligibility, and contributing to a positive
campus climate conducive to participant success.
