Summary About the Position: This position will serve as a Secretary (QA) for Fires CDID, US Army Futures and Concept Center located at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Responsibilities Serves as the Secretary to the Division Director and their Deputy. Assists supervisor’s subordinates in the procedural aspects of expediting the work of the office, including executing the overflow workload of clerical help to take care of fluctuating workload. Provides guidance to division personnel on a variety of internal and external administrative reports and requirements. Receives all visitors and telephone calls for the Fires CDID HQ organization. Keep office calendars and organization schedules updated. Reads incoming correspondence, publications, regulations, and directives which may affect CDID Division organization. Assist in the procedural aspect of the organizations workflow. Oversee travel arrangements for personnel. Serves as the department point of contact with other organizations in matters pertaining to requesting and granting security clearances. Arranges for conferences, including such matters as location, schedule, agenda, and attendance lists. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Maintain a daily calendar; schedule appointments and conferences; establish and maintain suspense controls; compose and review correspondence such as memorandums, letters and reports; take notes and prepare minutes; prepare travel accommodations; provide administrative and clerical functions utilizing various computer programs (i.e., Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Power Point). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (DK-01/GS-05). For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone – no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
