PRN Seasonal

Program runs from August 25, 2024 to April 5, 2025

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

·All seasonal RNs are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period.

·Within a close geography, you may be asked to float to another facility that has an emergent staffing need.

·Four (4) weekend shifts are required each 4 week schedule period.

·During the course of the 32-week period, the employee is required to work two (2) holiday shifts (defined by Department Manager or designee).

·Seasonal Staff are PRN status employees and are subject to first call-off. There are no guaranteed hours by the hospital.

·Seasonal Staff will not be eligible for benefits, except 401(k) and retirement contribution per the PRN policy.

·Seasonal Staff willnotbe eligible for extra shift bonuses (D1/CND, D2/ECD, and D3/EVD)

·Current FT/PT & PRN Level 3 employees are not eligibleto join the Seasonal program for 2023-2024 with the exception of RNs that participated in the Seasonal program in the previous year.

·Current employees of HWS are not eligiblefor the seasonal program.

·Shifts may vary based on the needs of the department.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Certified Surgical Technologist you will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Scrub Technician is responsible for providing surgical scrub assistance for all types of minor and major surgical and non-surgical procedures dependent on individual experience.

What qualifications you will need:

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Certified Surgical Technician (CST)

High School Graduate / GED

Certificate, or Vocational School Graduate
