3rd Class Mechanic

Join the Amtran team as a mechanic and help make a difference in our community! Starting pay is $27.83/hour, and includes an excellent benefits package with health insurance, paid sick, personal, and vacation days, and retirement plan. Paid uniforms, boot, and tool allowance.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ensuring all Amtran vehicles are in working order and in compliance with state/federal regulations by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing repairs and preventative maintenance.

Applicants must have good mechanical training and/or experience in bus or medium/heavy duty vehicles. Class B CDL with passenger endorsement preferred, but not required. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, with a good driving record.
