Work Youll Do

Infrastructure Design and Management:

Architect, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS.

Required to have experience with Docker, EKS/Kubernetes, Linux, Bash, and Python

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and Ansible, Cloud Formation (optional).

Ensure high availability and disaster recovery configurations for critical systems.

Optimize infrastructure for cost, performance, and security.

Automation and CI/CD:

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.

Automate the deployment process to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

Monitor and optimize the performance of CI/CD pipelines.

Implement automated testing and validation processes.

Monitoring, Logging, and Performance Tuning:

Set up and manage monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.

Implement logging and alerting mechanisms to proactively identify and resolve issues.

Perform regular system audits and compliance checks.

Conduct performance tuning and optimization of cloud resources.

Security and Compliance:

Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Manage IAM roles, policies, and permissions to secure AWS resources.

Implement and manage encryption, backup, and recovery processes.

Collaboration and Support:

Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for AWS-related issues.

Document processes, procedures, and best practices for knowledge sharing.

Mentor and train junior team members on AWS and DevOps practices.

The team

Our Core Technology Operations group enables differentiation and focused growth for large-scale infrastructure, data center, and operations projects. We take part in operation services for our clients with emphasis on automation and delivery excellence. Our core capabilities include: IT Operations Delivery & Management, Customer Experience Enhancement, Operations Transformation, transportation modernization, and Emerging Technology platforms such as drones and 5G networks.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelors Degree

5 years of AWS experience

Active Sec certification or equivalent/higher

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Interim Secret clearance or higher

Must live in a commutable distance (approximately 100-mile radius) or be willing to relocate to the following Delivery location: Mechanicsburg, PA with the ability to commute to assigned location for the day, without the need for overnight accommodations

Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. This may include overnight travel.

Expectation to co-locate in your designated Delivery location up to 30% of the time based on business needs. This may include a maximum of 10% overnight client/project travel

Active AWS Certification (Architect Professional)

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $102,750 – $171,250.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
