Building Assistant Teacher

A Building Assistant Teacher assists classroom staff with maintaining a high-quality early childhood classroom environment with attention to health and safety prevention measures; curriculum and assessment strategies focused on school readiness; and strength-based family engagement that promotes parents as the childs first teacher. Work collaboratively with classroom staff to develop and implement daily plans for childrens school readiness that involves culturally responsive, integrated service delivery of child development, disabilities, and mental health that supports learning environments.

Minimum qualifications for this position are:
– High School Diploma
– Preschool CDA (Childhood Development Associate) Credential
– 1 year experience working with preschool age children
– Ability to travel to any one of our classrooms through the Franklin County area
– Flexible availability between 6:45am – 5:15pm

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.07 – $18.54 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
