Software Engineer

Exciting Software Engineer Opportunity Supporting Avionics!!!

Job Description

This position provides the opportunity to learn and apply the fundamentals of the software verification process as specified within the objectives of the RTCA DO-178C standard. In this position, you will learn about avionics equipment, safety-critical software applications, software design methodologies, and the FAA certification process.

Skills Required

Bachelor’s Degree: Computer Science OR Electrical Engineering

Ideal candidate wants to be in software testing in an embedded software environment

Proficient in C programming

Nice to have skills:

Develop Test Procedure from Systems and SW Requirements

FPGA – Xilinx, Vivado, VHDL, Verilog

VB/VBA

Perform tests on a wide range of avionics equipment

Develop and maintain SW Test Applications

Analyze Graphics and I/O Performance

Perform testing on individual units and as part of a System setup

Code/Requirement Differential and Regression Analysis

Code review for coding standard adherence

Structural Coverage Analysis

Generate Software Problem Reports

Technical Documentation and Reports
