Developer III – Database

Design, develop, administer, optimize, and manage database applications using SQL Server TSQL. Work with analysts and users to gather and interpret business requirements for multiple financial and healthcare systems, including large data warehouses. Consult with the business to determine the logical design for new business solutions according to existing data architecture. Perform code reviews, analyze execution plans, and re-factor inefficient code. Configure, integrate, and support code deployment, automation, systems and software, DevOps/Cloud platforms, and security adherence within the data analytics division, utilizing SQL Server Integration Services, DevOps Pipeline, Azure Data Factory, and Powershell. Participate in Provider platform daily status calls and perform production level troubleshooting and identification of performance issues in the analytics lifecycle, utilizing Reporting Services, Qlikview, SAS, and Dimensional Insights. Review legacy processing area for Provider platform. Handle support requests, monitor inbox, and address any automation requests or issues.

Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Systems Management, or related field and 4 years of experience utilizing TSQL for management and optimization of SQL Server data platforms; with SQL Server Administration, including knowledge of jobs, backup, security management, optimal performance settings, and internal engine; configuring, supporting, and managing ETL automation with SQL Server Integration Services; utilizing Reporting Services for configuration, management, job monitoring, performance, and internal reporting. 2 years of experience utilizing Powershell for automation OR management of DevOps/Cloud platforms.
